1. Eligibility — 18+
Bromunity is for adults aged 18 or over only. By creating an account you confirm you are 18+ and legally able to agree to these terms. We may suspend or remove accounts we believe belong to minors.
2. What Bromunity is (and isn't)
Bromunity is a self-help and peer-support tool: AI conversations with “Ben”, mood/goal/diet tracking and a community. It is not medical care, therapy, diagnosis, or a crisis or emergency service, and nothing here is professional advice. Always seek a qualified professional for medical or mental-health needs. In an emergency, contact local emergency services or a helpline at findahelpline.com.
3. Your account
Sign-in is passwordless (magic link or Google). Keep access to your email/Google account secure — anyone with it can access your account. Give accurate information and don't impersonate others. You're responsible for activity on your account.
4. Acceptable use
Don't use Bromunity to:
- break the law, or harm, harass, threaten or exploit anyone;
- post hateful, abusive, sexual, violent or illegal content;
- spam, scrape, reverse-engineer, overload or attack the service;
- misuse the AI to generate harmful, illegal or deceptive content;
- share another person's private information.
5. The Bromunity community
The community is a Pro feature and is anonymous by default. Be real, be kind, and back each other up. We use automated and human moderation; posts that break the rules may be hidden or removed, and accounts may be suspended or banned for serious or repeated breaches — including an automatic ban for hate speech or other egregious content. Reporting tools exist so the community can keep itself safe. You own what you post but grant us a licence to host and display it within the service.
6. Ben & AI content
Ben is an AI. His responses can be wrong or incomplete and are notprofessional advice. Use your own judgment and don't rely on the AI for medical, legal, financial or crisis decisions. Conversations are processed by the Bromunity AI service to generate replies (see the Privacy Policy).
7. Free and Pro plans
- Free includes Ben (up to 30 messages/day), daily mood tracking, up to 3 active goals and manual food logging.
- Pro ($9.99/month) unlocks unlimited AI chat, 300 minutes/month of voice chat with Ben, full Bromunity community access, unlimited mood & goals, AI food-photo scanning & workout tracking, custom AI personality and priority support.
- Teams is available for organisations — contact us.
- Plan limits and features may change as the product evolves. Paid billing is being rolled out; where Pro is granted before billing launches it may be provided at our discretion. When billing is live you'll be able to cancel anytime, effective at the end of the billing period, with no penalty.
8. Referrals
Each member gets a referral link. The referral reward is 20% on referrals you bring, up to 20 in your first year. Referrals must be genuine — self-referrals, fake accounts, spam or any abuse void rewards. Rewards are tracked now and settled once paid plans launch; we may change or end the programme, and determine eligibility and payouts, at our reasonable discretion.
9. Intellectual property
Bromunity and its branding, design and software are ours. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for its intended purpose. Don't copy, resell or create derivative services from it.
10. Termination
You can delete your account anytime in Settings. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or to protect the service or other users. Some provisions (e.g. disclaimers, liability) survive termination.
11. Disclaimers & liability
Bromunity is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on the app or AI content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Governing law & changes
These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, unless your local mandatory consumer law applies. We may update these terms and will post the new date above; continued use means you accept the changes. Questions? Email support@bromunity.com.
